Hi! I’m ElysE

a photographer with nearly 20 years of experience(not sure how thats possible since in my mind I still feel 25),  proud aunt, a lifelong Celtics fan, book hoarder with zero regrets, and a firm believer that some of the best stories are told through photos.Growing up in Maine,  I fell in love with the quiet beauty of everyday moments. Always asking my mom to buy me disposable cameras(ah, there is the age)

I started out at Suffolk University, chasing a “sensible” path… until I realized my heart was somewhere else entirely. So I dropped out, went to photography school, and never looked back. 

Following photography school I worked at a few great startups in the Boston area where I met many of my closest friends, many of whom I talk to almost daily. Also, arguably, learned the most about photography, in the real world.  I worked in the comfort of other studios until I felt my favorite place to be was shooting a wedding. So I dove head first and and built the business to what it is today.  It’s crazy to live something you didn’t know could be.
